About Me

My name is Sharon Owen. I am a nutritionist, vegetarian, and healthy food advocate. I raised my four children as vegetarians and as holistically as possible in a time when that was an anomaly. Although I’ve been a proponent of healthy eating since my teens, not until I had my children did I truly understand the extensive impact the food we eat has on our health and our lives. Through my years of experience in using food to heal, paired with my nutrition certification from the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program, I have garnered a wealth of knowledge in nutrition and health. I would love to share what I’ve learned along the way to help everyone understand that their food choices really do matter and their health is in their hands, and on their plates!
